Support Specialist Responsibilities:|
Provides management for the support, availability, operation, and recoverability of production systems. Includes functions in support of end user needs. Includes production control, problem management, second- or third-level application production support, and other support for a variety of systems, such as OS390, data warehouse, Unisys, Unix, Linux, and PeopleSoft, among others. Also includes all functions to keep the enterprise computing complex (usually mainframe or server farm) responsive to end users needs, such as tape librarian and other storage-related duties.
Service Experience 1+ years Financial Services experience General knowledge of pertinent systems Mission Criticality: Experience working on internal facing applications Troubleshooting: Basic demonstration of diagnostic skills Provides clear concise communication with project team members Exposure to working with third parties 12 hour rotating shifts. 4day/3day work week. 7am-7pm or 7pm- 7am shifts.
