The Administrative Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences will oversee the administrative, financial, and human resources activities of the Center. This position is responsible for serving as liaison and primary CCTS and CTSA representative to University, hospital, government, and industry collaborators. The Administrative Director will work with faculty, staff, and senior level executives at Brown University and CCTS partnering institutions to identify and creatively develop opportunities for CCTS involvement. The Administrative Director will also be responsible for outreach to researchers and research groups, and the development of long-term relationships that will sustain clinical research initiatives across multiple institutions, in addition to Brown University. Additionally, this person is responsible for the identification and development of all other CCTS and CTSA related activities.
Special Physical Requirements
- Master's Degree in health-related field or equivalent combination of education/experience -4+ years of related professional experience -Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop relationships with University and outside stakeholders and effectively devise and implement collaborative initiatives. -Significant experience in grant writing, educational development, and budget management -Specific experience with CTSA grant processes -Demonstrated ability and flexibility to multi8-task, prioritize multiple directives, and manage diverse job responsibilities -Excellent communication and presentation skills
