Requisition Summary
The recruiter is responsible for leading recruiting initiatives and provides full-cycle recruiting for PACCAR division(s) in Renton, WA. Works closely with HR business partners to understand recruiting needs, and directly with business managers/supervisors to develop position requirements. Assists with needs assessments, requisition development, advertising activities, candidate screening, the interview process and selection. Works closely with HR operations to support recruiting requirements. As a recruiting specialist, leads certain U.S.-wide recruiting projects for PACCAR.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Manages the full-cycle recruiting process
Ensures high quality of hire standards
Recruits for positions across North America and for some international locations
Manages sourcing and screening
Proficiently utilizes PACCAR’s e-recruiting system to manage the recruiting process
Supports the effective use of e-recruitment by helping HR access candidates
Utilizes and becomes an expert in the use of electronic recruitment and selection tools
Participates in appropriate career fairs and other recruiting events
Maintains college relations as assigned
Provides recruiting data to support metrics to ensure the recruiting process is fully accountable
Engages in continuously improving the HR recruiting processes and procedures for all U.S. and some international operations, as assigned
Special projects and related duties

Qualifications & Skills

BA/BS degree in business, human resources management or related field required. MBA, PHR or SPHR preferred
2 - 5 years full-cycle and social media recruiting experience with information technology, operations and manufacturing roles
Demonstrated sense of urgency, proven customer service and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor and comfort working with all levels of management and in a team environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality; must be dependable and able to prioritize competing priorities
Ability to understand business objectives and recommend appropriate staffing plans
Technical aptitude including working experience with MS Office, SAP, SharePoint and e-recruiting systems
Multi-lingual skills a strong plus
