This position will sit in our Communications Solutions business unit. This business unit provides technologies that help businesses of all sizes better communicate. We offer a full range of meters, digital color printers, inserters and sorters that enable the creation of high-impact, color customer communications, including bills, statements, marketing offers and compliance documents. Our shipping solutions serve mail centers to production shipping. We provide digital solutions so organizations can create the right relations with the right customers
Under minimal supervision this position is responsible for the coordination and completion of enterprise projects and enterprise account management. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors/summarizes progress of projects. Prepares and delivers reporting for executive management regarding project status. Additionally, this position is accountable for developing and implementing plans for driving Project Management, and Professional Services, to meet the Enterprise Service Solutions overall revenue goals.
Manages multiple enterprise projects of significant business impact, scope, complexity and risk; while monitoring status and communicating project plans to all stakeholders Develops detailed project schedules and milestones based on business objectives and timing requirements. Works with the Business Analyst and Systems Engineers to confirm customer deliverables and provide a smooth transition to the implementation phase. Continuously assesses project risk factors and executes appropriate courses of action to mitigate. Provides account and enterprise service management, where appropriate, for enterprise customers after project has completed. Manages 3rd party relationships where required. Obtains scheduling commitments from customer, internal and external resources Manages expectation changes with the customer, internal and external resources and is responsible for customer satisfaction Identifies additional professional service revenue opportunities Build effective working relationships with internal sales and service personnel to become an integral member of the area and national team. Provides key leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of project management tools and processes. Mentors and trains Pitney Bowes employees and assists in driving project management expertise development throughout the technology organization and other supported business groups. Maintains leading-edge knowledge in the discipline along with appropriate knowledge of Pitney Bowes systems products and possesses the skills to apply the knowledge to specific customer applications.

2 to 4 years of project management or business analyst experience, managing projects to meet critical deadlines while reporting to executive management. A Business, Engineering, or industry related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Experience with Microsoft Project or similar software package and proficient with entire Microsoft Office Suite required. Proven leadership, communication, and writing skills coupled with strong interpersonal, and relationship management expertise. Proven project management skills including project organization, and planning Proven success in a matrix management role Strong understanding and working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, operating systems and applications Understanding of logistics and transportation industry, a plus. Mailing industry knowledge and automation also a plus, PMP, CAPM certification, Project+, or formal project management certification or training highly preferred Travel required for position is about 10%.
