SIG has a Windows Build and Release Engineer job opening on our Technology team located at our headquarters in Bala Cynwyd, PA just outside of Center City Philadelphia. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for support, continuous integration and building Windows tools and applications to enhance SIG's software development life cycle. You will ensure all development needs are met, optimize automated builds and integrate these solutions.

Administer and maintain source code control, builds and releases, and Windows tool chain.
Participate in support rotations with other members of the team
Assist development on the Microsoft platform and in all phases of SDLC
Formulate, communicate, and advocate best practices for parallel development using sound configuration management techniques
Manage build process to ensure development needs are met, to optimize automated builds, to provide consistency and reliability of builds and to ensure integration of various units.
Research, evaluate, purchase and steward leading edge solutions in software development advances, practices, SDLC tools and components
Develop, support, maintain, and train others on SDLC tools, processes, and extensions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or its foreign equivalent (relevant technical experience may substitute for education)
At least 3 years experience compiling and building solutions on the Microsoft platform
At least 3 years experience maintaining and supporting a source code control application, such as Perforce, for a large development team
Professional experience with several of the following tools is required:
-Team City, Cruise Control, NUnit, etc.
-Resharper, NCover, NDepend, etc.
-DevTrack, Bugzilla, Redmine, Roundup, etc.
-Redgate ANTS, MS Visual Studio, etc.
-Sci Tech .NET Memory Profiler, Rational Purify, etc.
-emacs, vi, MS Visual Studio, Notepad++, etc.
Experience with a scripting language such as Perl, Python, or Powershell
Excellent attention to detail and a complete understanding of development methodologies
Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Ability to gather accurate, detailed user requirements and analyze, design, develop and implement solutions while managing multiple projects and tasks
Must have strong teamwork skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
