Facility: Sacred Heart Hospital located in Pensacola, FL has long been the regions leader in providing surgical services since 1972, when our hospital performed the areas first open heart surgery. More recently, we have been the regions leader in performing off-pump heart surgery where coronary bypass surgery can be performed without stopping the heart.
Sacred Heart is a Level II Trauma Center located in Northwest Florida. Sacred Heart Children's Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in Northwest Florida that is trauma certified.
Our skilled surgical teams work in state-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment. Sacred Heart Hospital also is fortunate to have talented pediatric surgeons, pediatric dentists, pediatric orthopaedic surgeons and other specialists with specialized training in performing surgical procedures on children.
Approximately 50 cases are performed each day in our OR. Surgeries include: GYN/URO, general, orthopaedic, neurology, plastics/ENT, and open heart/PV.

Job Summary: The Director provides for the overall administrative operations and management of all aspects of the Operating Room, Anesthesia, Central Processing, PACU, and Pre-Op Departments at Sacred Heart Hospital.
This role requires an individual that possesses excellent critical thinking, organizational, decisive judgment, analytical, problem solving, communications, and customer service skills. The Director needs to be experienced in managing and facilitating change, with a positive and respectful attitude. This role requires the ability to respond to multiple needs and priorities while at the same time ensuring the financial and management integrity of the department.

- Bachelor's degree in nursing, business, or hospital administration required.
- 5 years progressive leadership experience in surgical services required
