Job Focus
A Senior Scientist Engineer position is available for a highly motivated and creative candidate to join the Conjugation and Polytides Process Development (CPPD) department in Bioprocess R&D. CPPD is accountable for the advancement of a diverse portfolio of bio-conjugates, including Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) and conjugate vaccines and as well as peptides and oligonucleotides. The Senior Scientist Engineer will provide engineering solutions to unit operations, scale-up and scale-down for all bio-conjugate processes. The candidate will also support transfers to pilot and commercial facilities for the production of clinical materials and ensure that scalable processes are developed that are ready for process validation and commercialization. The candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills and a working knowledge of both biology and synthetic chemistry since this position requires interactions with both biochemists and chemists. The Senior Scientist Engineer will work closely with other colleagues and leaders in the CPPD department to develop new technologies and deliver the project portfolio.
