PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
telecom experience REQUIRED

Local telecom company is looking for an Administrator to do abstract lease documents within the Transformation organization for the Network Advantage Managed Service. The candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in legal and financial terms associated with commercial real-estate agreements. The candidate will also have a breadth of telecom business understanding including knowledge of the functions involved in Network Rollout, Network Operations and or Field Services. Responsibility: The Contract Admin. Lease Abstraction will be responsible for: The execution of all abstractions associated with new and amended telecommunication real estate agreements, maintain quality and cycle-time against predetermined objectives. Determining rent payment amounts for telecommunication real estate agreements Cross-organizational communication management for assigned projects within the Managed Services, US organization. Cross-organizational communication of agreement terms and conditions as they apply to their assigned projects. Overall project management of all assigned projects, including special project assignments in addition to the day-to-day abstractions. Adherence to team methods and discipline. Interfaces: Internal: sales, finance organizations – interfacing with Site Development, and Regional Property Services to ensure consistency of approach and delivery of accurate information. External: Customer – interfacing regarding specific customer dependent projects or deliverables and status. Qualifications: Skills, Experience and Education: Strong legal and financial acumen. Strong telecommunication real estate acumen. Strong customer orientation. Excellent analytical & problem solving capability. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business, real estate, management, or telecommunications field, or a minimum of four years of progressive experience in a related field, or Juris Doctor with three (3) years of lease or property management related experience preferred. Proven track record of meeting objectives. Core Competencies: VERY STRONG attention to detail - VERY IMPORTANT, must be accurate. HIGHLY efficient and ORGANIZED Ability to read and interpret legal language/contract provisions and enter data correctly People management skills essential. Demonstrates exceptional capacity for taking ownership of issues through to resolution. Takes a logical and orderly approach to analyzing problems, organizing work and planning actions. Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts. Searches and implements creative solutions, going beyond the traditional and accepted. Ability to multi-task, meet objectives against aggressive timelines. Identifies needs of both internal and external customers and meets or exceeds their expectations in a resource efficient way. Specific equipment and/or materials used in the performance of the essential functions of the job.

  • Previous knowledge or familiarity with standard corporate contracts
  • Ability to listen, take and follow direction
  • Ability to re-engineer processes, where needed
  • Ability to articulate clearly and thoroughly, with diplomacy, across multiple levels, both internally and externally, via various mediums and face-to-face
  • Must be very proficient with computers, namely database entry, including knowledge of: “keyboard shortcuts, MS Office Suite, database management and report writing.
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail is required
  • Project planning or participation in a large-scale corporate project, a plus
  • Knowledge of contractual language, legal terms specific to the cable industry, and strong communication.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
