Leads and integrates Sales planning, analytics, systems, and communications to enable the Area Sales Director to successfully manage and execute Post Foods business plans. Develops and implements team strategic direction in support of Post Foods strategies, objectives and policies. Ensures customer plans are created and executed to achieve channel and Post Foods objectives.

Job Qualifications Responsibilities
      · Ensure data analysis (IRI, Neilsen, POS, Spectra, Ad Tracker, Competitive Intelligence, Retailer Results, JDE, MVI, etc.) and systems (Adesso, etc.) facilitate better decision-making and faster execution. Integrate internal and external data and systems, where needed.
      · Integrate, streamline, standardize, and automate reports / systems.
      · Develop with senior management the Sales organization’s objectives and key performance indicators (KPI’s) to track results versus objectives.
      · Enable the delivery of commercial plans in high quality and timely manner.
      · Manage the data / systems budget and external data / systems providers.
      · Provide training of sales analytics and tools to Field Sales associates.
      · Develop new customer management capability that improves trade management, customer management, and forecasting.
      · Monitors plan to achieve Post Foods strategies and objectives. Ensure retail compliance of Post Foods products
      · Ensure thorough knowledge of strategies and objectives of Post Foods and account
      · Directs activities of team members to effectively manage business and resources
      · Work cross-functionally to identify issues or opportunities and secure appropriate resources to support objectives
      · Directs retail and logistical objectives with appropriate associates
      · Provides ongoing feedback around performance towards objectives, issues and opportunities at assigned account
      · Monitors all KPIs to ensure alignment to established objectives
      · Management of all Customer financial operations
      · Ensure compliance of all assigned budgets
      · Establish and monitor objective and plan to reduce unsaleables
      · Establish and monitor objectives and plan to reduce charge backs
      · Manage all financial functions through complete understanding of P&L process
      · Conduct frequent reviews of business progress with mid and upper level management
      · Deliver more integrated, streamlined, standardized, automated and user-friendly data and systems.
      · More efficient commercial planning process, delivering high level of compliance across the organization.
      · Deliver a new customer management tool within 3 years.
      · Deliver projects on time and within budget
      · Directs and manages forecasting
      · Establish formal forecasting process utilizing fact based decisions and input
      · Effectively utilizes available data and resources to accurately forecast.
      · Ongoing assessment of forecast accuracy with associates providing feedback for improvement and training
      · Communicate changes in distribution and business plan in a timely manner
Education and Qualifications
Minimum:
      · Bachelors Degree
      · 6 to 10 years combined, industry sales experience
      · 5 years sales management experience including national account management
      · Working knowledge of category management practices, marketing strategies and insights
      · Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation and motivation.
      · Proficiency computer skills in MS office, data sage such as PPP, SFS, TM1, IRI, DCS, etc
Preferred:
    · Advanced skills in analytical management
    · Extensive knowledge of Post Foods customer base and competitors
    · Experience in sales planning, marketing, financial management
    · Full understanding of P&Ls
    · Required travel approximately 20%
    · All positions require the associate to be fully competent in the generation and assessment of Post Foods reports such as Adesso, TM1, SFS IRI, PPP, etc. needed to perform position duties.
    · Position requires strong capabilities in the shared values of customer satisfaction, seeking better ways for better results, capable of working cross-functionally and fully knowledgeable of area of responsibility, provides coaching, energizes others and develops associates, establishes clear performance targets and direction
