The Sales Manager should have basic knowledge of contractual agreements and the ability to generate clear and concise instructions to clients through use of these agreements. Candidate must be able to work quickly and efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment and be exceptionally detail oriented. The Sales Manager must possess knowledge of business and management principles, involving strategic planning and or project management. Must be available on weekends and evenings.
The Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and Catering. The Sales Manager will develop, manage and implement all event details for clients; develop relationships with representatives needing event planning services, prospect new business and conduct site-visits. Major duties include working with clients to design menus and event setup and service details; coordinating with Kitchen and Operations departments for special requests and organization of logistics for events. The Sales Manager will create and input banquet event orders using RESERVE Software and is responsible for up-to-date distribution of all event information to Operations and Kitchen departments.
Sales manager duties also include drafting contracts, collecting and processing event deposits and payments, ensuring client billing information is accurate and sending final event invoices to the Accounting department and client.
