We are in need of an APRN to work 20 to 40 hours a week.

(Full Time Opportunity) - This position will spilt time between our Gainesville Outpatient Services and our Ambulatory Detox program. This position will treat adults and children with mental health and addictive disease issues.

(Part Time Opportunity**) - This position will work 20-29 hours in our Ambulatory Detox Center in Gainesville. This positions works with adults with a substance abuse diagnosis in an Ambulatory step down program.

Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:

*Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatric and nursing staff
*Develop comprehensive plans of care
*Examine patients to obtain treatment assessment
*Makes tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of consumers
*Prescribes therapy or medication (with physician consultation available)
*Participate with a Clinical Care Team each week
*Work closely with team members: administrative team, doctor, nurse, social service technicians, and other counselors, etc

*Salary commensurate with experience*

Minimum Qualifications: (Training and Experience)
* A current Georgia license to practice as a APRN

Preferred Qualifications:
* Specialty in Psychiatric Nursing (i.e. PMH or Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing)
*Ability to look past a diagnosis and find consumer strengths.
*Understanding of the local and community resources
*Bilingual a plus.
