Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Duration: 12 Months (20 Hrs /week)
Must be dependable and be able to work with independence.
Must demonstrate high energy and work enthusiastically with community partners.
Knowledge of community organizations and administration.
Knowledge of outreach principles , especially diverse audiences.
Skill in writing and public speaking .
Skill in effective communication via email, web and social media.
Skill in operating computers and applicable computer software .
Skill in meeting management.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners, volunteers and community organizations.
Ability to be a team player and work integrally with TPWD staff, TCIN volunteers , and youth groups.
Ability to oversee, coordinate and promote volunteer programs to identify resources conducive to volunteer programs.
Ability to assist research and preparation for funding and capacity-building Opportunities.
Experience in volunteer services work.
Experience working with youth organizations.
Experience facilitating meetings.
Knowledge of the children-in-nature issues and movement.
Knowledge of and experience in VISTA or other capacity-building skills.
Copy of driver’s license, and references.
