The right person will have excellent communication skills, a broad understanding of eCommerce capabilities and be able to both encourage and channel creativity to enable business strategy execution.
Footlocker.com/Eastbay/CCS operates the direct to customers business for Foot Locker, Inc. - the world’s leading retailer of athletically inspired footwear and apparel. Our brands include Footlocker, Eastbay, CCS, ChampsSports, Footaction, KidsFootlocker, and Lady Footlocker. In fact we manage 14 of the largest sport inspired web and mobile sites on the net, which enjoy over 250 million visits per year.
The ideal candidate will be marketing or IT professional with experience in an internet retail environment, and will bring a mix of technical internet aptitude with insights into the merchandising process. Skills should include a technical vision, supporting strategies, tactics to bring those strategies to life, and building/nurturing the relationships needed to execute the mission. Knowledge of use cases and the documentation and management of information technology workflows is helpful.
Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s Degree (M. A.) from a fully accredited university in a related field and at least four years of experience in a retail environment in a similar role (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
