Looking for a junior tomid-level Enterprise Architect, ideally with some solution architectureexperience, to support the Enterprise Architecture Program Management Office(EAPMO) of DHS.
This individual will perform the following activities for asegment architecture or similar workstream at the EAPMO:
Stakeholderengagement (e.g. one-on-one interviews, and facilitated group discussions)
Developmentof process models as needed (e.g. Business Process Modeling Notation(BPMN) and ICAM Definition for Functional Modeling (IDEF0))
Datacollection and analysis
Developmentand/or refinement of a project plan
Recommendationof the solutions/tools needed to achieve what was called for in thetransition plan
Configurationand (possibly) ongoing management and support of those solutions/tools
Enterprisearchitecture methodology maturation, development, and/or implementation
As noted in the intro, there may also be a solution architecturecomponent to this position (i.e. building out the work products and actualsolutions called for in the transition plans the EAPMO produces) but again, theprimary emphasis will be on higher-level enterprise architecture activities.
Candidates should also expect and be comfortable working autonomously, as the Federallead will be looking to mostly delegate tasks related to the assigned segmentor workstream. Therefore this person will need to be comfortable setting adirection, developing a plan, and executing against that plan with minimalsupervision.
Note on Security Clearance: Ideal candidate will have a Secret clearance with DHS Suitability. However, candidates without a clearance (as long as they are U.S. citizens)will certainly be considered.
