To assist in the daily processing of payroll. To accurately audit and record payroll transactions. To insure the timely issuance of employee pay checks.
- Must have a high school diploma; two years office and/or accounting experience and have experience with payroll duties.
- Individual must be highly organized, able to handle pressure and deadlines.
- Familiarity with computers, 10 keys and other standard office machines.
To audit all employee timesheets accurately for each payroll.
To accurately input timesheet information into the computer system and proof work.
To follow all BBAHC procedures for payroll processing.
To keep employee payroll records accurate and timely both in the computer system and in the payroll files.
To keep the Paid Time Off leave book timely and accurate.
To keep the Paid Time Off leave records in the computer system accurate.
To make sure that filing in the employee payroll files is accurate and timely.
To insure that all employee deductions are accurate and documented.
To answer employee inquiries about payroll.
To reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
To assist in annual audit as needed.
To keep the general ledger accountant advised of any and all payroll problems that may develop.
