To assist in the daily processing of payroll. To accurately audit and record payroll transactions. To insure the timely issuance of employee pay checks.

  • Must have a high school diploma; two years office and/or accounting experience and have experience with payroll duties.
  • Individual must be highly organized, able to handle pressure and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with computers, 10 keys and other standard office machines.

Essential Functions:
  • To audit all employee timesheets accurately for each payroll.
  • To accurately input timesheet information into the computer system and proof work.
  • To follow all BBAHC procedures for payroll processing.
  • To keep employee payroll records accurate and timely both in the computer system and in the payroll files.
  • To keep the Paid Time Off leave book timely and accurate.
  • To keep the Paid Time Off leave records in the computer system accurate.
  • To make sure that filing in the employee payroll files is accurate and timely.
  • To insure that all employee deductions are accurate and documented.
  • To answer employee inquiries about payroll.
  • To reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
  • To assist in annual audit as needed.
  • To keep the general ledger accountant advised of any and all payroll problems that may develop.
