This is an exciting opportunity to work as a member of the Creative Marketing Team at the Store Support Center (SSC) in Suffern, NY. The graphic designer will design promotional/marketing collateral, print, and web advertising.
In this role, the right candidate will: Design print literature including, but not limited to: point of sale materials, gift packaging, catalogues, grand opening & remodel store packages, ads, seasonal promotions
Translate and concept print initiatives into web needs
Collaborate with merchant partners to understand and concept seasonal merchandise initiatives
Design/execute clear creative and current design for our customer while following brand identity standards
Stay current with competitive analysis and seek inspiration within retail as well as external resources
Stay current with our customer through dressbarn research
Participate in focus groups and/or research
Requirements: Successful Candidates will possess:
5-7 years Graphic Design experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, or the equivalent.
A passion for fashion is a must, retail experience preferred.
Ability to accurately translate business requirements into marketing oriented designs.
Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML/Dreamweaver/Flash knowledge a plus.
Ability to collaborate with a team or work autonomously.
Thoroughness and highly detail minded.
Ability to use and/or create print templates, set files up for print, and work in correct color profiles.
At ease working in a fast paced environment or under pressure of deadlines, self-starter.
Must provide portfolio upon interview.
