This is a great fit for an individual with strong business skills, and an entrepreneur spirit who wants to work with one of the fastest growing companies in the Midwest.Responsibilities of Media Business Development Manager will include, but are not limited to Support sales team with stock media questions Assist sales team in all aspects of new and existing custom media, including obtaining new and repeat custom quotes, as well as sample requests Maintenance, support, and relationship development with all existing Vendors approved/certified/registered resellers and Vendors Employees Interface with media vendors to obtain product information on a timely basis Assist in the training of BlueStar sales staff on Vendors products, partner programs, promotions, and business policies Assist in the development of content for all of the marketing and business development collateral for BlueStar/Vendor micro-sites, catalogs, solution sales sheets, product mailers, newsletters, and other promotional programs. Assist BlueStar Business Development Managers and Partners in the development of Solution Bundles including any of the Vendors media Advise and notify BlueStars executive management team of all Vendor business activities and concerns via BlueStars reporting weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms and meetings.
Requirements for Media Business Development Manager Must work well with sales staff, VARs and end users Must be an excellent communicator, face to face and over the phone. Ability to publicly speak to small groups. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite IE: Word, Excel, Power Point Must have 4 year college degree Knowledge of the POS and AIDC Channel is a plus Fundamental knowledge of media, including types of substrates, adhesives and liners is a plusAll applicants should include their salary requirements.
