INNCOM develops advanced, software-based Energy Management, Integrated Room Automation and Common Area Control Systems for the global lodging, healthcare, and educational housing markets. We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Support Associate located in Niantic, CT .

Be a part of a growing Customer Care team with opportunity for advancement at Honeywell as a Sr. Technical Support Associate. As a Sr. Technical Support Associate, you are responsible for assisting our customers with presale and post-sale technical support including product recommendations, installation assistance, and troubleshooting. This role also has a daily impact on customer relationships by providing error free technical support resolutions as well as accurate, timely referral information.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide customers support by resolving their technical issues via email, phone and other electronic medium. Resolving technical issues may consist of configuring control equipment, configuring control settings via remote connection to customers control server computer, configuring connections to control equipment and or 3rd party servers.
  • You will also provide training and assistance to help clients learn how to configure their control equipment and use their front-end control software.
  • Once you obtain a general understanding of the problem or issue the customer is experiencing, it will be your job to identify and correct or advise the customer on how to resolve the issue they are having.
  • You will be required to log all interactions with the customer in our contact management database and ticketing system.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years experience in a related technical field.

Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related Technical degree preferred.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience in a call center environment.
Commercial HVAC control's experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to implement these skills in a team environment.
Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Strong mechanical and electrical background.
Ability to work independently, to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and customers directly, by phone or electronic medium.
