Our client is a large organization with an exciting opportunity to work in their studio in the far NW suburbs. They are in search of a high-energy Studio Producer/Project Manager who is at the top of their game! Interested candidates must thrive in a fun, yet fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, as well as have talent and a passion to open/operate a new studio to support online and print advertising.

The focus of this role is to generate and manage estimates, budgets, and final billing assigned projects. Ensure appropriate scheduling of communication events related to pre and post-production meetings including generation and managing estimates. This position also serves as the liaison between the studio, clients, and appropriate departments.

The Producer is the gatekeeper of all photography projects and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the physical production of their specific accounts assuring that the job is accomplished within the budgeted time frame and financial estimate. You will work with managers to create, manage, track, drive deadlines, estimates for new and existing projects.

Responsibilities may include:
o Interface with external clients relative to production needs
o Generate and manage estimates, budgets and final billing
o Work with model agencies to book talent and track contract usages
o Work with location scouts, acquire permits and track fees
o Ensure images are secured and ready for creative production processes
o Applies knowledge of primary activities within the production phases of a photo shoot
o Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies and projects related to projects
o Reorganize photo shots and forward questions to art directors and/or managers
o Receive, compile, confirm accuracy, and distribute pertinent project information to appropriate personnel
o Coordinates with the scheduler/traffic coordinator to ensure stellar efficiency with inter-departmental workflow regarding photo shoots
o Generate and manage estimates, budgets and final billing
o File and maintain film or digital print outs for project book
o Ensure all purchase receipts have been accounted for
o Attend, schedule and facilitate pre and post production meetings

Requirements:
o 3-5 years of experience in a retail, in-store design/marketing
o Past experience with layout, art direction, printing and price negotiation are a plus
o Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
o Ability to work independently, interact with management
o Makes decisions regarding issues affecting own work and the work of others
o Results driven with a sense of urgency
o Eye for details and the ability to juggle multiple projects

Technical Requirements:
o Database management
o Mac platform
o MS Office with experience in word processing and spreadsheet applications
