Under the direction of a supervisor, lead tech, or coordinator, and the clinical guidance of a Medical Technologist, collects, processes, and distributes laboratory specimens and results. Performs limited waived and moderate complexity laboratory testing on patient, quality control, and proficiency specimens, as assigned.
Nationally recognized phlebotomy certification preferred.
Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
One or more years phlebotomy experience to include infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric preferred. One year of prior specimen processing experience preferred.
