As a Predictive Modeling/ Data Mining Scientist you will perform data analysis, develop algorithms and predictive models and technical information to a broad audience. You will apply algorithms and modeling tools to a variety of data assets and develop critical solutions for multiple areas of business. You will work with a dynamic and passionate team of experienced scientists and other professionals. Responsibilities include:

Create, develop and maintain a suite of predictive analytics to solve critical business problems using the best technologies available

Develop statistical models & methodologies to predict, quantify, and evaluate various business/health metrics

Provide expertise and assistance in integrating advanced analytics into ongoing business processes

Interface with other functional areas on database design, data collection guidelines, and promote models into production

Identify and recommend new data sources that will maximize analytic output; ensure and maintain data quality and reliability

Role Essentials

Master’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

Prior experience on data mining, statistics, pattern recognition, machine learning

Strong experience using modeling tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Matlab

Passion for solving challenging technical problems, creativity, and detail orientated

Ability to effectively communicate results of statistical models to broad audience
Role Desirables

PhD Degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

Advanced experience and in-depth knowledge of modeling techniques, such as feature transformation, selection, nonlinear modeling including neural networks, boosted trees etc.

Experience of develop and implement models in transactional databases

Experience with SAS Enterprise Miner

Experience with large data sets especially health care data
Reporting Relationships

You will report to a Manager or Director. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
