Seeking entry-level assignment desk journalist for Global TV Press Agency
We are a news organization that works with reporters from all over the world.
This is a chance to be a valuable part of a news team that will provide you with the opportunity to work with international news headlines.
Job Qualifications:
Journalism school education and/or equivalent journalism experience is required.
Must be proficient in a second language.
Newsroom and/or related news experience is preferred.
Editing skills preferred. (Finalcut Pro or Avid)
Good attitude, team player and able to follow directions.
Organized and good at multi-tasking.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Responsibilities:
Review news videos from all over the world.
Rewrite and translate news scripts.
Digital non-linear editing.
High potential for advancement.
Location: Santa Monica, CA
