Responsible for following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of therapeutic activities as specified by the treatment program and the individual patient treatment plan. Provides clerical support for assigned unit. In doing so, transcribes physician orders, schedules diagnostic tests and therapies for patients/residents, assembles and maintains patient’s/resident’s chart, answers telephone and intercom calls, providing routine approved information, and relays other calls and messages. Appropriately interacts with patients/residents, family, and staff. Supports unit activities that are essential to the smooth functioning of the patient care area.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Training or direct experience of at least two years in the mental health field with demonstrated ability and skills to work therapeutically with patients
- Healthcare provider CPR Certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification within 60 days of hire
