IT Service Delivery Manager – Special Projects
The IT Service Delivery Manager (Special Projects) will report directly to the Program and Deputy Program Manager on the SITEC IT Service Management contract at MacDill AFB in Tampa.
This person will support various special project assignments as deemed necessary by the PM and DPM.
Special Projects could include such things as transitioning in a new IT service provider to the SITEC contract, supporting/leading tiger teams and crisis action teams as the need arises, assisting PM/DPM in recruiting efforts and staffing, assisting ITSM architect in identifying IT improvements needs and recommending solutions.
Responsibilities will include working directly with senior levels of IT management to define requirements for IT and process improvements, analyzing requirements; developing and recommending IT solutions; facilitating discussions and decisions regarding IT solutions and process improvements; resolving questions and/or issues; and conducting analysis and needs assessments.
Organizes and leads efforts of cross functional teams which includes developing schedules, managing issues and tracking progress issues.
This is a lead level professional responsible for identifying, developing, coordinating, facilitating, and implementing IT service solutions and process improvements.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and fourteen (14) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be capable of managing the implementation and maintenance of multiple simultaneous initiatives.
This person will requires a wide range of business and IT management knowledge.
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of government and contractor individuals at all levels.
ITIL V3 Foundations certification required.
Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Most work will be performed in a cubical environment inside a large facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
Equipment and Machines:
General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Microsoft Office Suite of products to include Project and Visio.
Onsite (MacDill AFB) attendance required; must be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).

Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
