High school Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in medical billing would be helpful.

1) Gathers information necessary to bill the appropriate payer or make determination that account is self-pay.
2) Examining the patient record and for using telephone to gather information.

1) Following billing process, follows accounts, makes necessary contacts with insurance payers or patients to assure maximum reimbursement.
