Duties Summary:

Performs skilled plumbing work in the repair, maintenance and installation of plumbing systems and equipment; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

License:
A. Applicant must possess a valid State of Hawaii Journey Worker Plumber License or Master Plumber License.
Hawaii does not have reciprocity agreements with other jurisdictions. To obtain more information about obtaining a Hawaii issued license, please contact the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) at: http://hawaii.gov/dcca/pvl/.

Note: If a copy of your Hawaii Plumber's license is not submitted, you will be rejected.

B. A valid driver's license is required for some positions. For those positions requiring a driver's license, you must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. The immediate vacancy has this requirement.

Special Requirement - Lifting: Some positions require the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds assisted by another person and/or use of equipment (e.g. hoisting equipment, hand truck). The current vacancy has this requirement.
