The role of Information Resources is to provide timely, secure, accurate information, information support and information technology to facilitate our integrated business model. This position contributes to the Applications Team performance that leads to the successful implementation of the electronic medical record for a specific Operational Unit.
Nature and Scope:
The incumbent in this role is a member of the Applications Team. The Workflow Analyst works alongside the Application Specialists under the direction of the Project Manager and/or Customer Liaison.
The Workflow Analyst will document and thoroughly understand the customer’s clinical practice, patient interactions and how the electronic medical record supports those processes. They are required to work collaboratively on process design, build, data conversion, interface development, testing, and implementation tasks with a customer focus. In cooperation with the Operational Unit Subject Matter Experts, they will translate their knowledge of clinical methodologies into design specifications and supporting documentation. When necessary the Workflow Analyst must be able to act as a team lead.
They will adhere to project plan timelines. They will maintain a familiarity with the installed applications in order to provide customer support in troubleshooting functionality and providing support and direction in the effective use and continued growth of the electronic medical record.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor’s or Associates degree in nursing required.
Three years work related experience in the healthcare field. Experience with an electronic medical record product preferred. Implementation of technology that fundamentally changed clinical practice preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license.
Electronic medical record product certification preferred.
Electronic medical record education and training will be provided.
Certification must be attained and maintained ongoing in order to retain employment status.
Computer / Typing:
Must be proficient with Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
