Clare Bridge Program Director
will oversee all aspects of the Memory Care facility including budgeting, census development, community relations, human resources and quality of service.
Responsibilities include:
Planning, coordinating, and implementing programs and events for residents with Alzheimers or Memory Care Issues which provide:
Socialization opportunities
Fitness and wellness activities
Educational and recreational programs
Spiritual enrichment based on the needs and preferences of the residents
Must be enthusiastic and promote activities within the community.
Creativity in position is necessary for the success of the department.
We seek the following qualifications:
Atleast 2 years experience developing and facilitating activities for residents with memory care issues
Florida Assisted Living Facility Core training certification preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field (e.g., gerontology, social services, healthcare administration, etc)
Experience in healthcare with Life Enrichment or Activities
Preference will be given to candidates who have supervisory skills and management experience in departmental budgets and exposure to the older adult population.
Must be able to work well both independently and with a team.
Customer service skills must be excellent.
Must have impeccable computer skills and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as computer proficiency required.
Must have experience working full-time with a geriatric population handling deadlines in a fast-paced retirement, healthcare or related industry preferred
