Hacker Group, one of the largest and most successful direct marketing agencies on the West Coast, and a subsidiary of DraftFCB, is looking for a sharp Account Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing Account Management Department.

The Account Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing a variety of specific tasks and assignments in support of clients’ projects as they move through the agency from strategy and development, presentation and production, and on to execution and measurement. The tasks associated with these steps are many in number and highly varied in their content.

As an important member of the account team, the “AC” helps maintain the client-agency relationship by working hand-in-hand with Account Executives, Creative staff, and Project Managers to ensure all program requirements are met throughout the process.

Besides being a proving ground for up and coming talent, this position gets broad and frequent exposure to all of the inner
workings of the agency. For the right candidate, it can be an outstanding platform for professional growth and upward

  • Support the review, approval and distribution of various presentation and communication materials within the agency and with our clients
  • Play a lead role in the proofreading of marketing materials in preparation for digital, video and/or print production
  • Act as general support for account team in preparation of client meetings at our offices, and remotely both in person and electronically
  • Coordinate with clients to help ensure the ongoing advancement and completion of projects under management by the account team
  • Maintain various libraries both manually and online of work samples, project files and competitive intelligence
  • Ensure all client interactions are conducted promptly, professionally and accurately
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications or a related field
  • 2+ years direct marketing or related agency experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, highly energetic
  • Demonstrated skill at problem-solving, collaboration and meeting deadlines in complex, fast-moving environments
  • Extremely personable, positive attitude, works well with team members and clients at all levels of seniority
Knowledge Areas:
  • Proofreading, spelling, grammar
  • An eye for good visual design
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with print, video or digital production
  • Client/customer service experience a plus
