Min Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent; 1 year related experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide coordination of all phases and activities associated with special university or community programs.

Salary Range

From $32,000 To $34,000 Annually

Grant funded position.

Specific Job Related Duties

Utilizing effective instructional technology strategies, develop and coordinate accessible technical assistance/training resources for the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) health workforce development professionals in the national network of AHEC grantees. This position will be a critical team member of the federally funded AHEC Training and Consultation Center (A-TrACC).

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate instructional technology activities, including online training/distance learning courses, for health workforce development professionals related to `program evaluation and performance improvement.
  • Assist in planning and developing a dynamic web site to support professionals┬┐ access to resources and training.
  • Assist with training needs assessments and identifying topics to be developed.
  • Manage production processes.
  • Meet timeline objectives.
  • Facilitate team work.
Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Preferred Skill/Competency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop partnerships with experts within the national AHEC program to work collaboratively on the development of training tools.
  • Effective organizational and project management skills required.
  • Website management using a content management system.
  • Experience in desktop publishing, graphic arts, E-learning, course development and management software.
  • Experience is beneficial in the development of databases, correspondence, collateral material, newsletters, manuals, presentations, and publications.
