Associate Research Physicist to investigate RMP penetration.

Develop a code which will calculate the effect of resonant magnetic perturbations on flowing, magnetically confined plasmas.

Essential Qualifications
A Ph.D, and a background in computational plasma physics is required. Familiarity with Jacobian-Free Newton-Krylov methods is helpful. Experience with with an equilibrium code that includes finite velocity and FLR effects is also helpful.

The term appointment is 2 years with a possible extension to a third year.
