We are looking for OTR Truck Drivers to deliver multi-vehicle loads of brand new Class 7 and Class 8 trucks from San Antonio, TX, to destinations throughout the United States and Canada. You will make no back hauls and we will pay to fly you back so that you can take out your next load. Your driving schedule will be twelve days out and three days off, with additional days off for each 7 days that you work. OTR Truck Driver - Class A CDL Driver - Auto Transportation Job Responsibilities In your role as an OTR Truck Driver, you will drive decked sets using saddles and booms. You will pick your loads off of a board at our dispatch facility based on your seniority and deliver them to dealerships and customers within the lower 48 states as well as in Canada. Specific qualifications for the OTR Truck Driver position include: Ensuring prompt and safe delivery of goods to customers Conducting pre-trip inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment Displaying consistent attention to safety in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations Collecting delivery instructions from dispatcher, verifying instructions and routes Maintaining logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations Reporting any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles Driving trucks to weigh stations to document weights and to comply with state regulations Obtaining receipts or signatures for delivered vehicles
OTR Truck Driver - Class A CDL Driver - Auto Transportation Job RequirementsAs an OTR Truck Driver, you must be dependable with a record of longevity with previous employers. You must be familiar with the trucking industry, and comfortable working for stretches of 12 days at a time. It is also important that you know the basics of how to do light repairs in transit.
