The UNLV Department of Foreign Languages invites applications for a full-time, renewable Lecturer position in German to begin August 2013. Successful applicant will coordinate the undergraduate language program and also teach German courses at the undergraduate level based on department needs. The successful applicant will have a native or near-native command in both German and English.

An M.A. or equivalent in German from a regionally accredited college or university required.
Experience in coordinating undergraduate language program and supervising part-time instructors required. Knowledge in second-language acquisition and assessment highly desirable.

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
