Responsible for the day to day working relationships between WellPoint, IBM delivery teams, and other delivery teams as applicable to ensure the IBM Watson enabled solutions are delivered to the specification of WellPoint both on time/on budget and end to end. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Leads the business support of the Watson initiative across all use cases. Represents CHS as the main point of interaction during both the business development and operational stages of the initiative.
Drives strategy and manages points of conflict between IBM and WLP.
Secures and organizes resources from inside and outside of WellPoint to provide support for the program development implementation and testing.
Responsible for overall oversight and day to day direction and coordination of all workstreams to ensure that business capabilities are delivered.
Directs overall program from a business perspective which includes activities that span multiple use cases/releases.
Provides input into product commercialization.
Includes input to and oversight of the development of business requirements, design, build and configuration of the system, user acceptance testing, migration planning, training, migration support and post-migration production support.
Secures and organizes business input as needed to progress the program, make decisions and resolve issues.
Develops documentation to support meeting presentations and the tracking and reporting of the program success.
Job Qualifications
Requires a BS/BA in a related field, 8-10 years of progressive management experience with complex project/program experience and execution of results in the healthcare industry; experience with software implementations in the provider setting, experience with provider software development, (large) vendor management, change management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred.
