Notre Dame of Maryland University currently seeks a full-time Enrollment Manager to serve as the initial and primary point of contact for prospective students to the College of Adult Undergraduate Studies (CAUS). The Enrollment Manager will work with the Director of Admissions to develop and execute a comprehensive enrollment strategy(recruitment and retention) to meet institutional goals for the undergraduate adult populations.
Some of the essential functions include, but not limited to:
-- interview prospective CAUS students and provide informationto include the evaluation of transfer credit, explanation of the academic programs and majors, tuition payment options, financial aid and assist with course selection.
--actively promote and market the CAUS programs and recruit new students via networking, email, phone, on and off campus information sessions and college fairs.
--responsible for maintaining up-to-date student information in DATATEL files and/or hard-copy records. Will assist in tracking student’s progress toward graduation/completion. Will work to ensure student’s registration on a yearly basis to maintain matriculancy status and will provide support for student concerns or questions.
--coordinates &/or participates in CAUS special events such as new student orientation, First Thursday information sessions, open houses for prospective new students and chat programs with current and prospective students
--coordinates & monitors the enforcement of the University’s academic policies regarding attendance, matriculation, academic probation, leave of absence, graduation, etc. as well as major degree program changes.
--travels for recruitment activities at community colleges, business and regional fairs and other recruitment activities/programs.
Normal office environment, some travel within Maryland, some evening and weekend hours are required. The CAUS office is open 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree in business, education, communications or related field is preferred.
A minimum of three years full-time work experience is required. Experience in new student recruitment, marketing, sales, academic advising or counseling is preferred. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is also required.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent communication skills, computer & database literate, strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to be a self-motivator and to work independently as well as with a team toward institutional goals is a must.
