Berkeley College's Mathematics & Science Department is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach a variety of science offerings. Current primary offerings are both biology (anatomy & physiology, bioethics, health & fitness, human sexuality) and environmental science based (conservation/sustainability, forensic science). Special topics are offered on a rotating basis.
Preferred applicants will be able to present scientific concepts in an innovative, engaging, energetic manner utilizing group work, reality based case examples and alternative assessment rather than a lecture/quiz/midterm/final approach to teaching. Enthusiasm for the subject matter is essential as is an ability to work with a broad spectrum of learners with diverse levels of prior learning.
This position is based in New Jersey with travel to our New Jersey locations as course coverage requires.

Applicants should have an earned doctorate (Ph.D. preferred, D.N.S., Pharm.D., M.D., D.P.T., D.C.) in an area related to the offerings described above. A track record of successful and highly effective teaching experience in an academic setting required.
