Where you work matters! Swedish is looking for a Patient Registration Representative at our Mill Creek Facility.

Swedish is looking for a customer focus, detail oriented, Patient Registration Representative. This position is responsible and accountable for the coordination of information and support needed for the flow of patients in the Swedish Medical Center environment.

In this position you will:
  • Collect and enter all financial data, and insurance verifications
  • Collect insurance co-payments
  • Manage the patients’ Medical Charts, files and admission
  • Act as professional liaison with patients and family
  • Oversee outside medical center requests for patient information
  • Participate in quality improvement activities of the medical center and Emergency Department

qualifications for this position include:

High school diploma or GED


Previous experience a medical setting


Working knowledge of Excel, Word


qualifications for this position include:

AA degree


Knowledge of medical terminology


Knowledge of insurance and usage of a clinical information system to perform data entry

About the Mill Creek Campus

Swedish/Mill Creek has 86,000 square feet of space on three above-ground levels and a partial basement. The E.D. – which is open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week – features 18 emergency exam rooms and six additional observation beds. It shares the first floor with a complete diagnostic imaging center with X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, CT scan and MRI, which is staffed by partners from Seattle Radiology. A full laboratory and offices for primary- and specialty-care providers are on floors two and three. Swedish/Mill Creek can immediately treat patients suffering from stroke to severe lacerations or burns, broken bones, sports injuries, allergic reactions, food poisoning, work-related injuries and many other medical emergencies and non-emergencies.
