Job Description:
Service Delivery

professionals are responsible for providing service delivery across the breadth of offerings such as accounting, information technology, application development and maintenance, helpdesk services, procurement, learning and training and human resources. The work that is performed by our delivery professionals may serve one or more clients concurrently and they may be located directly at a client site or within our global delivery network.

The

Software Tester Level F

provides expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of release tests. The Tester is responsible for applying business and functional knowledge to meet the team's overall test objectives. The Tester develops an expertise in the testing principles, processes and methods as defined in the methodology framework and provides that expertise to other Testers. The tester is also responsible for ensuring that the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology are applied as specified in testing approach, and that all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. May perform defect coordination functions, ensuring that test defects are tracked to closure and that the defect repository is kept up-to-date with the current status. Also included in the defect coordination function is the creation and distribution of test status metrics as required by the project. The Tester may interact with the end customer, frequently interacts with internal customers and may be required to participate in pager/on-call support.

Responsibilities may include:
Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data

Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts

Develop, update and maintain quality testing standards and procedures

Communicate effectively with customers and software vendors as appropriate

Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environment(s)

Facilitate and/or participate in structured walk-through and peer reviews

Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing

Participate in Lessons Learned as appropriate

Manage testing process questions and/or issues

Coordinate testing specific release activities

Technology skills: Salesforce.com

Ability to travel 25%

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

:

Bachelor's Degree

A minimum of 1 year of experience in at least 3 of the following:

Test Data Management

Test Management

Peer Review

Functional Test Planning - Preparation - Execution

Technical Test Planning - Preparation - Execution - Performance Testing

Software Quality Assurance

Preferred Skills:
Experience at a High Tech client or within a High Tech company

Automated Functional Test Planning - Preparation - Execution

Test Environment Management

Professional Skills Required:
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

Proven ability to drive team schedule and milestone completions
