Description/Job Summary The U.S. Army Reserve 80th Training Command requires assistance to address internal force management activities in order to plan and execute the transformation of its
institutional training into the One Army School System (OASS) and concurrently initiate the transition and physical relocation of portions of selected USAR training headquarters to the AC proponent school location. As a Sr. Military Analyst, the fully-qualified
candidate must be able to assist in 1) defining the future state of transformation by assisting in the development of a Concept Plan to gain formal approval from the Department of the Army of the transformed structure; 2) assist in the development of a plan
to transition three selected headquarters by developing stationing plans, in accordance with AR 5-10, to move a portion of these headquarters; 3) assist Government personnel in identifying the required resources, supplies, manpower, etc, needed to integrate
into the OASS with appropriate consideration of the differences between the Active Component and Reserve Component organizations; and 4) assist Government personnel in identifying the most efficient location(s) to conduct the various classes conducted by the
integrated OASS by gathering cost information concerning the ability to train and conduct missions at designated locations.
Required Experience In-depth knowledge of U.S. Army and/or U.S. Army Reserve stationing and training requirements including knowledge of AC and RC institutional training, unique aspects
of RC organizations, transition and transformation of institutional training, to development/staffing/implementation of concept and stationing plans.
- Experience in developingCost Benefit Analyses (CBA), Stationing Plans, Requirements Models, and/or Decision Support Tools.
Required Education Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to travel may be required to U.S. Army Reserve Component Training Brigade headquarters and other TRADOC installations.
