Position Description This position will primarily support the efforts of two senior data managers as they develop clinical research data management systems using Oracle Clinical Pharmaceutical Applications The ideal candidate would have some experience with Oracle Clinical Software (or with any other EDC – Electronic Data Capture software) and several years of midlevel data management experience in a pharmaceutical or support industry ( eg CRO – Clinical Research Organization) Some of the tasks this person would be performing include writing data management plans data dictionaries design specification documents validation rules testing and QA documents Developing and revising case report forms and manuals of procedure Additionally they will be expected to train and support remote site staff with regard to using the data management system for multiple projects THEY WOULD LIKE THIS INDIVIDUAL TO BECOME A PERM EMPLOYEE AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT PERIOD AND STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF SUBMITTING INDIVIDUALS WITH A &ldquoSTABLE JOB HISTORY – SEVERAL YEARS WITH EACH COMPANY” MUST HAVE GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL BEST FIT WOULD BE WITH NO MORE THAN 1015 YEARS EXPERIENCE – Data managers are in their late 30&rsquos Must pass criminal background check and drug screen Duties Support remote users (Clinical Coordinators and Research Nurses) Document changes by Data Managers Setup and execute tests (manually) for user acceptance
