In this role, you’ll manage avionics programs from start to finish including organizing all technical programmatic needs and schedules and anticipating and proactively managing issues. This includes working with customer and project engineers and developing concepts for complex products including product definition, feasibility studies and market analysis, researching emerging technologies and components which have potential to provide a competitive advantage, and collecting information regarding product required functionality, manufacturing, installation, operating environment and interfaces, and utilizing the information to guide product design decisions.
You’ll also be responsible for maintaining and communicating requirements and allocating them among subsystems while ensuring compatibility and participating in product design activities including electrical, software, or mechanical development.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering, Science, Mathematics or another related technical field from a four year college or university with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and experience through educational projects or internships in designing multi-disciplinary technical systems OR a minimum of 10 years experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description.
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills plus superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality are also required for this role.
Candidates with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical, Software, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and/or 5+ years experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description are preferred.
