Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Manufacturing Supervisor in our Lincoln, NE plant. This second shift position will work in a highly automated assembly facility to supervise production of QO and HOM brand miniature circuit breakers.

This position will report to the Manufacturing Manager and will supervise the day to day operations of the factory with accountability for meeting/exceeding objectives for safety, customer service, quality, and process improvement. This position will be required to establish and sustain lean manufacturing practices within the department, while promoting change and meeting production deadlines. The qualified candidate must be capable of driving a safe, quality-conscious and goal-oriented working environment. This position is assigned in the manufacturing department on second shift to supervise the activities of up to 25 employees.

Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience. Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong interpersonal communication, coaching, motivational and problem solving skills, and an ability to build teams in a manufacturing environment. Proficient computer skills and previous experience in manufacturing automation is a plus. Applied knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six-Sigma principles, ISO 9000, ISO 14001, OSHA regulations, SAP, labor relations, and employment practices also a plus. The candidate must be mobile and posses future career potential for development purposes.
