Brown Advisory is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill our newly created position as an Associate Performance Analyst. This is a full-time position located in our Baltimore, MD office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the APX Performance System, run performance review and analysis
  • Troubleshoot and provide answers on performance
  • Manual performance calculations
  • Update Indices, Sectors, Dividend Rates, and Security Master File
  • Create macros and report packages customized to client needs
  • Communicate with Portfolio Managers, Strategic Advisors, and Associate Portfolio Managers
  • Create Quarterly/Meeting books as needed, quarterly mailings, create custom reports
  • Responsible for account maintenance
  • Setup new accounts and input custom labels
  • Reconcile accounts
Job Requirements
  • Knowledge of Advent Software or other portfolio management systems a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of the financial industry
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Strong background in math and computer use
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong numeric 10-key pad skills
  • Ability to handle confidential material with utmost discretion
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • In addition to the above skills, candidate will be expected to study and sit for Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) exam within two years of hire date
