The Sales Solutions Planner at Twitter is a pre-sales role that supports the Direct Sales Organization (DSO) with effective proposals, materials and customer-centric sales support programs. The primary function of the Sales Solutions Planner is to support the Direct Sales Organization with dedicated strategic solution planning and tactical support at the pre-IO stage of the Sales process.
Responsibilities include:
Drive proposal process from RFP analysis to the delivery of the final document through strategic planning, strong cross-organizational coordination and timely execution.
Manage day-to-day call prep and follow-up through a well-developed understanding of Twitter ad product capabilities, policies and internal analytics tools that support the go-to-market Sales strategy.
Coordinate client meetings for key customers, including account business briefings, relevant sales material preparation and meeting logistics.
Work with internal Analytics and Research teams to develop supporting rationales for proposal solutions and materials including vertical specific recommendations.
Work to provide consistency and focus across all Sales and Marketing materials though a strong attention to detail and understanding of the design principles of the Twitter brand.
Assist in the daily maintenance of an online resource center that houses all collateral, utilities and information for the Twitter Sales organization.
Participate in organizing new hire onboarding for Sales as a representative for the Sales Marketing and Sales Solutions orgs.
Requirements include:
BA/BS degree preferred
4+ years experience in sales marketing or a related sales support function
Online experience – preferably in social media.
Proficient problem-solver
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects and ever-changing priorities
Effective time management skills
Strong customer service attitude including interpersonal skills
Acute sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast paced environment
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency including adherence to brand standards
Strong teamwork and able to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration with resources across multiple teams
Comfortable with presenting to clients and agencies—in both small or large groups
Driven and solution-oriented and can overcome obstacles to drive projects through completion
Motivated by a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
Proficient computer skills (Keynote, Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
