DESSS, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Application Developer. The qualified individual must have a Bachelor's Degree.
Application developer for DESSS is responsible for creating, maintaining and implementing the source code that makes up the application. Unit Testing, debugging and identifying faulty code are considered general duties which the developer will engage with on a daily basis. He/she must successfully communicate with management and team members as well as being an active participant in team building.
The following skills and/or educational requirements identified for the position include:
Visual Studio 2008 and 2010
VS11 feature understanding a plus
Enterprise Library 5 (tools and classes)
Microsoft Best Practice and Patterns (tools, content, and classes associated with
Microsoft SQL Server:
Reporting Services, to include building, management, configurations, and deploying reports using the standard SSRS reports.
SQL CE 3.5 (as well as the associated frameworks with that calling these data objects) Sync Framework
SQL Server Management Studio to build, configure, and writing
Stored Procedures
Trouble shoot triggers
Able to design and understand major features of data storage and data modelling using this tool
C#.NET (Framework 2.0-3.5 SP1):
Some moderate understanding of the changes in .NET 4.0 and .NET 4.5.

SOAP and REST protocols and messaging
Blob and Partition storage tables
