Trust & Estates Middle Office - Project Manager

As a Project Manager within Trust & Estates Middle Office, you will support the Trust & Estates Practice and Middle Office teams by leading projects and tool support for various initiatives. The candidate may lead multiple projects or initiatives across various geographic locations. Projects will involve participants from and have impact on functions across multiple lines of businesses. Project work typically has a substantial impact on the corporation/LOB and is geared towards revenue enhancement, cost reduction, risk mitigation, process improvement or other priorities as defined by management. Ad hoc requests in addition to scheduled activities are likely.
Planning and executing small-to-medium scale projects or business initiatives independently.
Organize discreet work efforts and provide overall project or program tracking.
Communicate to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Partner closely with the hiring manager to manage business/client project deliverable expectations.
Provide feedback on project status, offering constructive options to ensure project tracks to original expectations.
Direct activities, monitor details, and set priorities.
Review root cause analysis and implement best practices.
Communicate and facilitate management decisions at the earliest possible time.
Function as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impacts.
Project activity and schedule may require weekend work from time-to-time.
Lead status meetings at the operational and project level.
Develop agenda's and presentation decks for status meetings
Specific project activity may include:
Documenting current and future state operating models
Documenting policies and procedures
Developing and delivering client and/or internal communications
Researching and clarifying business requirements so technology can deliver appropriate technical solutions.
Planning and coordinating UAT and regression testing for key applications
Metrics reporting and status tracking
Candidate must be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, handle changing priorities, and work independently in a fast paced environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Highly motivated, results-oriented, client -focused
Strong leadership, interpersonal, & relationship management skills
Strong network delegation and follow-up skills
Ability to synthesize information to reach logical conclusions & present findings
Ability to evaluate & improve processes; Excellent documentation skills
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Strong systems, operational, and control analysis skills
Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
High degree of initiative, self direction, and ability to work independently
Ability to work well in a team environment
2-5 years project management and/or senior business analyst experience
Strong issue resolution/and problem solving abilities
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
Effective presentation skills
Familiarity with Private Banking and/or Trust & Estates business is a plu
