The University of Rochester Medical Center is recruiting a third fellowship trained urogynecologist to join a multi-specialty practice as full-time faculty. The position is 80% clinical. Clinical activities include the care of patients referred for evaluation of complex pelvic floor disorders. Proficiency in vaginal approaches to pelvic reconstruction is preferred.

Training in robotic surgery is available if needed. Three DaVinci robotic systems are available within the URMC system. There is no in-house call. Teaching of fellows in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, OB/GYN, Urology and Family Practice residents as well as of medical students on rotation is an integral part of this position.

The URMC has an accredited fellowship program in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Experienced urogynecologists with interest may assume the role of fellowship director. Research skills and interest are expected. There are ample opportunities for clinical and translational research activities within the department of OB/GYN and in cooperation with other departments within the URMC.

The position is a salaried academic position. It is available immediately. Both experienced and newly graduated urogynecologists are encouraged to apply. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
