At least 10 years of operational Experience
A Master's degree in a health care related or business specialty. The incumbent will have (or obtain within five years) national certification in health care administration, executive medicine, or managed care through a recognized certifying organization. Affiliation with a professional health care organization.
The SDPC/BD must be comfortable working in a matrix organization and be able to draw upon the expertise of multiple support functions (HR, IS, Fiscal, Materiel Management, etc.) to meet system plans. He/She must maintain an effective method of two-way communication that throughout all levels of the WDPC and WDH that assures decision-making and problem solving are timely, appropriate and collaborative. The incumbent must be willing and able to share information with and provide feedback to all staff in a forthright manner to promote the growth of the WDH Health system in a manner that establishes the individual as a proactive and credible leader. The SDPC/BD will team with the Senior Directors of Operations, Clinical Quality, Human Resources, Finance, Billing and Coding to maintain effective and efficient operations throughout WHP.
Preferred / Desired
Experience in working with various employed physician models is highly desirable.
WHP Administration- Coordinates all aspects of program development, supervision, strategic initiatives, budget and facilities management in coordination with other senior directors
Community Involvement - represents the department program(s) and the hospital within the community.
Leadership - communicates and demonstrates the vision and mission of WDH.
