Triton Systems Inc. (TSI) is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, next-generation materials and devices R&D incubator. TSIs mission is to create and commercialize high performance material and device technologies. Our R&D activities are funded through a combination of government R&D grants, venture capital and commercial partner funds. TSIs objective is to rapidly commercialize its technologies by applying a distinctive blend of technical, marketing and business expertise. Our team partners with world-renowned experts from industry and academia to accomplish this goal. We seek an Engineer with 2+ years of industrial experience (BS, MS or Ph.D. in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics Engineering or Polymer Science), with a broad background in materials science and very strong experimental and fabrication skills; additional experience in optics or optical materials experience is a plus. Experience and skills sought include:
1.strong hands on mechanical design and assembly experience
2.electrochromic device knowledge/experience
3.thin film coating experience with sprayable polymers
4.ITO coatings for plastic substrates
5.blending of polymer adhesives and coatings with fillers
6.knowledge of percolation thresholds for filled resins and adhesives
7.coupon level testing of filled resin systems for strength, flexibility,fluid resistance,thermal performance
8.Experience with Roll to Roll process development
9.Experience with nanoimprinting processes
10.Experience with adhesives including optical adhesives
11.Experience with optical testing equipment
The candidate will work with other engineers and scientists to develop nanoimprinted films and electrochromic devices
