Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic programs in response to the most pressing business challenges in the Enterprise Markets group. This position works closely with Sales leadership and Sales operations to develop/implement both customer-facing and internally focused strategies, and is accountable to and has regular interaction with senior leadership.
This consulting level position will be responsible for working across functional groups within Business Solutions to provide quantitative analysis in support of complex business initiatives as well as model various business situations to forecast future trends including sales and revenue. This position will also drive investigations and programs as needed to respond to executive queries of the business. This position will report to the Director Business planning in order to drive projects and processes on behalf of the Director with other groups. Areas of analysis include, but are not limited to: Health of the Business -Predictive Indicators - Markets, Segments, Channels, funnel, churn -ROIC Analytics & Comparison of program alternatives -Performance Analysis -Annual and periodic forecasting model and process development and maintenance The right candidate will have a proven ability to work with constituents groups to understand the business need, define and source the appropriate data for analysis, define and perform the appropriate analysis, and document and communicate the results in a highly professional manner. This position will also develop plans and recommendations based on the analysis and drive associated programs as needed. This is a hands-on job requiring in-depth quantitative analysis, strong technical acumen and adept interpersonal skills needed to lead the successful resolution of complex business problems.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
6-8 years of financial analysis, and/or data/statistical analysis expertise from Telecom, IT, Financial or other industries.
Significant experience in compiling, championing and communicating financial business cases.
Solid understanding of sales, churn and revenue data and the interactions.
Solid understanding of revenue reporting and analysis.
Ability to develop an approach to open ended problem statements and then execute on the approach. Ability to gather disparate information and tie together in analysis to gain insight into the business.
The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of CenturyLink systems and processes, specifically in the revenue and budget areas of the business.
This position performs analysis as requested by leadership on Business Solutions operations issues and will be responsible for the business forecasting methodology.
